John Bradley
The word “career” always makes my heart sink. I didn’t want one and so far I haven’t had one. I’ve had jobs. Any number of them. Some I quit, some I was fired from and at others both my employer and I decided it was time to move on. My resume, were it an honest rendering of my experience, would be an obstacle to my getting hired by anyone.

My journey toward self-discovery started in college. It was there that I met my good friend and fellow caravan mate Pete Cassani. We bonded through a bottle or two thousand and when we both quit the bond remained. He set out to make music and I, well I set out. I went here and there and eventually landed back in New York where I make my home. I first picked up a video camera in the mid-1980s. It was one of those big bulky ones so I put it back down. I wouldn’t try to lift another one until the early 90s when video cameras became much more compact. Not content with just lifting the camera I started to film myself and the world around me. Over the years I have amassed more footage than I can watch. As a television producer and editor I have found a way to get paid for what had been just a hobby.
